Kim Rockman, is co-founder of Archicomm.
Following the formation of his own architecture practice in the early ‘90s, (later renamed Insite Architects), Kim went on to build his reputation with the establishment in 1996 of Australian Essential Services Group (AESG ) – a national independent auditing provider specialising in Fire Safety Auditing, Safety Measures Reporting and Education, Building Health and Safety and Compliance Solutions.
As well as working for the managed property industry, AESG offers a range of building compliance and consultancy services to government, semi-government and the healthcare industry and, more recently, combustible cladding project management.
With a reputation built on expertise, comprehensive industry experience, professionalism, quality of reporting and customer service, the independent services provider has attained substantial growth with more than 17,000 properties under management enabling the company’s reach to be extended throughout Australia.
Along with his business partner Marie Lakos, Kim co-founded Archicomm in 2016 in response to a requirement to provide dilapidation reporting for major infrastructure projects.
Now working on some of the most high-profile major projects in the country
a key to Archicomm’s and the group’s success is the state-of-the-art technology platform that Kim innovated alongside the growth of AESG.
Having designed and built a world, best practice software system in UpTick (formerly Abas), Kim has been providing software solutions to the auditing industry for several years now.
With a vision to develop Archicomm along with the other subsidiaries, Kim’s strong bent is to work on as many major projects as is possible during the 2020s making the group a leader in its specialised fields and in doing so contributing to the development of his staff to further build their expertise and, their desire for success as a number one’ team of practitioners.
